The Mavericks is a country music band that combines Texan and Mexican music, neotraditional country music, and rockabilly influences. The band was founded in the late ’80s by the singer and songwriter Raul Malo. The band consists of bassist Robert Reynolds, guitar players Eddie Perez and Ben Peeler, the lead guitarist David Lee Holt, drummer Paul Deakin, and the pianist Jerry Dale McFadden.
